In late 2011, TTF-PARA (Now MNPARA-SCI) began experiments with the usage of pre-recorded, synthetic voice,MP3 files to ask questions during EVP sessions. The premise behind this was multiple fold. The first being to eliminate human speech, intestinal gurgling, sinus sounds, and other bodily functions, which are often times mistaken for various raudive phenomena. The second was to utilize the various mechanisms of output that speakers provide over simple speech. (IE: EMF and Sound Output… vs Strictly Sound Output alone.)  The third principle of this experiment is to see if there is a difference in the reaction rates between using a live investigator vs. a synthetic voice. To date MNPARA-SCI has gathered interesting results using these methods.

RECENT SAMPLE OF OUR EXPERIMENT RESULTS

AUGUST 2012 In this brief audio clip myself and my TTF-PARA Jr. Investigators, conducted a recording session at a previously used private residence. This potential EVP is interesting as it sounds like two voices. One is louder and actually makes more sense when it’s played in reverse. The other is a whisper found in the  middle and end of the EVP file.

AUGUST 2012  In this brief audio clip myself and my TTF-PARA JR. Investigators conducted a recording session at a previously used private residence. In the video our emf sensor spiked a high emf reading. Right before and right after the blip there is a very faint voice. The video above includes the orginal full clip; and a amplified and EQ enhanced version of the evp/avp played three times.

August 2012, I took my jr. investigators on a field trip to a local country homestead. We deployed the peter short burst file played on a smart phone, recordings were caught on a portable digital audio recorder. Interesting anomallies were captured.  Caveat** as these events were captured at an outdoor location, labelling these recordings as absolutely AVP/EVP would be difficult, such labels should be applied at more secured and controlled locations… however we do call these events as anomalous. We are familiar with insect and animal noises, and can verify no other parties were present on scene.

  1. This is fascinating… I will be conducting this experiment during the day, when there’s less noise to deal with, and when I can have the windows closed. It’s extremely hot here right now and they have to be opened up at night in order to cool off the house. Will definitely let you know if there are any results.

  2. I have completed the experiment. Unfortunately, I did not get any responses. However, I would be happy to repeat the experiment using the Peter files posted above. I will do this in the coming week, when I can be assured of quiet.
