MNPARA CI Commentary: parties who greatly influenced my theories on what paranormal phenomena is… In this 11 minute video he explored the future direction of his consciousness research. He also puts out in very basic terms his theories (See Ted Talks Blurb Below…)
(Source) The Future of Consciousness: Stuart Hameroff at TEDxTucson
(TEDXTALKS) Published on Apr 15, 2013 “Stuart Hameroff is an anesthesiologist and professor at the University of Arizona known for his studies of consciousness. For nearly forty years, Dr. Hameroff’s research is centered on how the pinkish gray meat between our ars produces the richness of experiential awareness. A clinical anesthesiologist, Hameroff has studied how anesthetic gas molecules selectively erase consciousness via delicate quantum effects on protein dynamics. Following a longstanding interest in the computational capacity of microtubules inside neurons, Hameroff teamed with the eminent British physicist Sir Roger Penrose to develop a controversial quantum theory of consciousness called orchestrated objective reduction (Orch OR) which connects brain processes to fundamental spacetime geometry. Recently Hameroff has explored the theoretical implications of Orch OR for consciousness to exist independent of the body, distributed in deeper, lower, faster scales in non-local, holographic spacetime, raising possible scientific approaches to the soul and spirituality. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)”
MNPARA-SCI Commentary: The above photo was located on a NASA Astronauts’ photographs page. It has sparked off some buzz on the net. What is this anomaly? It his a UFO, or some other more natural phenomena… Click on the image to get the full-sized picture, examine it closely… I’ve got my opinion on this matter, what do you think this is?

MNPARA-SCI Commentary: In the wake of disclosure hearings in Washington; and numerous other reports popping into the news. Is it time to seriously start looking at these incidents again. We’ve stopped our space program literally dead in its tracks after relying on 1970′s tech to launch us to low earth orbit for decades. What is flying around in our airspace these days? Is it ours? I doubt that we will ever get an honest account from official channels; but as reporters and investigators get better and better at what they do… Our disclosure of facts is right at our fingertips if we’re willing to look there.

Consciousness After Death: Strange Tales From the Frontiers of Resuscitation Medicine
- By Brandon Keim; New York Reader
Sam Parnia practices resuscitation medicine. In other words, he helps bring people back from the dead — and some return with stories. Their tales could help save lives, and even challenge traditional scientific ideas about the nature of consciousness. “The evidence we have so far is that human consciousness does not become annihilated,” said Parnia, a doctor at Stony Brook University Hospital and director of the school’s resuscitation research program. “It continues for a few hours after death, albeit in a hibernated state we cannot see from the outside.”
Resuscitation medicine grew out of the mid-twentieth century discovery of CPR, the medical procedure by which hearts that have stopped beating are revived. Originally effective for a few minutes after cardiac arrest, advances in CPR have pushed that time to a half-hour or more. New techniques promise to even further extend the boundary between life and death. At the same time, experiences reported by resuscitated people sometimes defy what’s thought to be possible. They claim to have seen and heard things, though activity in their brains appears to have stopped.
It sounds supernatural, and if their memories are accurate and their brains really have stopped, it’s neurologically inexplicable, at least with what’s now known. Parnia, leader of the Human Consciousness Project’s AWARE study, which documents after-death experiences in 25 hospitals across North America and Europe, is studying the phenomenon scientifically. Parnia discusses his work in the new book Erasing Death: The Science That Is Rewriting the Boundaries Between Life and Death. Wired talked to Parnia about resuscitation and the nature of consciousness.
